Dear Valued Customers,

This notice informs you of recent changes to Vietnam's Law on National Security, particularly concerning online information and communication activities. After 25 years, the Vietnam Internet Network Information Center (VNNIC), in collaboration with the Department of Resource Management Policy, is conducting its first comprehensive audit of the Vietnam country code top-level domain (ccTLD) management system. This audit includes verifying domain ownership to ensure compliance with Vietnamese laws.

Registrants are required to submit their domain registration applications to HI-TEK for verification by February 28, 2026, in accordance with Vietnamese law and VNNIC policies..

Failure to comply with VNNIC regulations may result in a domain being deemed invalid. If suspension or revocation is necessary due to incomplete submissions, errors, or missing required documents, HI-TEK will notify registrants of any actions regarding unvalidated domains.

Starting January 1, 2026, a service fee will be charged for all .vn domain ownership verification requests as described below.

To comply with VNNIC regulations and policies, submit your domain registration for verification within the specified timeframe to avoid extra validation fees.

Procedures and Guidelines for Domain Validation:

During the verification process, if it is found that the domain name registrant has changed the ownership name, transferred the domain to another registrant or company, or updated the registrant or company name, it is necessary to submit a request for a transfer of domain ownership or an update/change of the registrant or company name. Use the application forms below to apply for these changes before submitting your domain registration for verification, in accordance with VNNIC's regulations and authentication requirements.

Before printing the domain registration form, verify that your registration records are current. The completed form must be printed, signed by the Registrant, the Registrant’s Authorized Representative, or the Domain Administrator, and include the Company Seal. It must be submitted along with all required supporting documents listed below.

1. A copy of the complete domain name registration form. (Signed and stamped the registration form; signature notarization required if no company seal is available.)

2. A copy of the Business License or Certificate of Registration.

3. A copy of the ID card or passport of the registrant, the registrant's authorized representative, or the domain administrator is required. (Only one person signs the registration form.)

Kindly submit the completed domain name registration form together with supporting documents (#1, #2, and #3), as outlined above, in scanned PDF format via email to LEGAL@HI-TEK.COM.

Please be patient with us, as our thorough manual process for verifying domain ownership may take some time, depending on each case's specifics, starting from when we receive your submission. Typically, it takes 1-4 weeks to complete due to the volume of domain validation requests we manage daily. We handle requests in the order they are received, so we appreciate your understanding and patience as we process them.

Once we receive your complete registration application and all required documents, we will notify you after reviewing and confirming that your application complies with VNNIC's policy requirements for domain name ownership verification.
